The Client* sought to update an existing platform that routed social influencer campaigns through the appropriate legal and compliance review process. Their existing platform was hard to navigate, time-consuming, and not user-friendly. Some of the features were outdated. *Name has been changed to protect client confidentiality.
The Process
Makeen wanted to create a platform that provided a great user experience and a streamlined interface that kept the day-to-day project tasks moving through the system of approvals. That meant eliminating any unnecessary features and implementing a Makeen-designed system to Warner Bros. specifications and design guidelines.
Makeen’s influencer system application provides three different roles: super admin, global user and regular user. Operations and permissions on the site are defined based on these roles. The site maintains details regarding each influencer and agency. Admins also have the ability to flag influencers and agencies for review and/or mark them for approval.
The Result
SIMS stands for Social Media Influencer System. The application allows for the creation and management of campaigns, influencers, agencies, and tasks. Each campaign follows a specific workflow, wherein tasks are routed around Warner Bros. based on the influencers and agencies that are part of the campaign. SIMS increases efficiency at Warner Bros by minimizing bureaucratic red tape and making it easy for the legal team to review and finalize approvals for each campaign.
